The sun shone and Kāpiti Island was gloriously dark against the afternoon and evening sky. Thank you to everyone who came and helped me celebrate my third collection of poetry. My gratitude to all at Victoria University Press for their hard work and aroha. Special mihi to Rewa, Paul, Leah, Francesca and Leonardo for extra awesome tautoko on the day. Big ups to the staff and management of Waimea for their manaakitanga and their beautiful venue. And of course many thanks to all of you who came and warmed the room, and my poems.
